So, are you saying that there was "evidence" that linked Bagman to 
his alleged crime against 'Our Side' during the Voldemort years, 
however, there was enough evidence to reasonably doubt 
that "evidence" (contaminated evidence, over-scrupulous Ministry 
wizards, Ministry wizards who have shown certain prejudices in past 
cases, etc.)? <g>

Interesting view though. Maybe Bagman is good at playing the fool or 
maybe he doesn't have to play one.
