In CoS15 (p. 269 American ed.) it says, "Ron had never been into the
Forbidden Forest before. Harry had entered it only once and had hoped never
to do so again."  This has to refer to his detention, which implies that he
didn't "enter" it when he followed Snape.  So, unless they've been there
another time that we don't know about, I think the only times that Mr.
Weasley could be talking about are the detention and the spiders.
