Maybe I'm just the sappy sort or maybe I just identify
with characters easier than you do becuase I'll be
honest the first time I read GoF I cried when Cedric
was killed.  Personally I think GoF was well written
and while we really didn't get to know Cedric until
then I think JK did a very good job of telling us
about him.  But then again that just MHO.
