I third the motion.  Draco serves an important purpose in the canon: 
he offers a total contrast to Harry who's a nice kid who's had to 
struggle all his life.  Draco is a nasty kid who's had it all with 
ice cream on top and yet is a little fiend.  No redemption on the 
cards for Draco.
