I think that was the biggest shock for me too.  I had no clue what was 
going on.

#2 was probably the Cup being a Portkey.  Sure, I knew Harry was going 
to get attacked by the end of the book, but I just didn't see that 
coming at all.  I was all caught up in the emotional drama of Harry 
and Cedric and then bang, we're in a showdown with Voldemort (another 
reason Cedric's death was such a shock--my mind was still back in the 
Tournament, even though as soon as they landed in the graveyard I 
thought I knew whose the "fine old house" nearby was).
