Susanna - love the comparison to Dracula; how could I have
forgotten one of my earliest, most-favourite stories?

The 'one healthy, one dying' who entered Azkaban were Barty's
father and mother - SHE was dying at the time. After she and
Barty took their respective Polyjuice Potions, he 'became' her and
that's why the Dementors then sensed 'one healthy, one dying'
person also leaving Azkaban.
