Another reason is as stated in GOF Harry did not know the summoning 
charm yet.  He had a hard time learning the charm.  Harry seemed to 
have developed a block for the summoning charm.  Which means to me 
that he he did not know about the charm as of yet.  Another OT 
thought I had today while watching PGA Championship golf is how handy 
an accurate banishing spell would be. Just a thought LOL
