I know that most everyone has listed a comic detail, but my favorite 
detail is from PoA, when Lupin finished the potion that Snape makes 
for him and...."The empty goblet was still smoking."

Gives me the shivers each time.

Denise/Magpie - who knew that Lupin was a werewolf the very first 
time I read his name (and still thought he'd be a cutie!)
