I think this was mentioned in a page of rumours posted previously but 
I completely agree with it, as I myself considered the possibility 
during my 3rd reading of GoF...PERCY IS EVIL.  JKR has never had 
Percy do anything chivalrous, he has never once done anything to 
protect anyone else except himself. He has always been caught up in 
himself and his power. In CoS his attention is caught by a book 
named "Prefects who gained Power" ... In PS/SS Prof. Quirrel said 
something that i think could come to Percy as a very good reason for 
going over to the ever growing Dark Side... "There is no good and 
evil, there is only power, and those too weak to seek it..."
He also seemed very eager in GoF to defend Mr. Crouch Sr. when he 
dissmissed Winky, which may not seem like much but something Sirius 
said hit home with me later..."If you want to know what a man's like, 
take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."... 
If you apply this to Percy, he doesnt really seem like a very nice 
person to me!   I'd love to know what people think of this.
