Mary, I had a different "cringe" line in Padfoot Returns:  If Crouch 
has ever taken a day off work because of illness before this, "I'll 
eat Buckbeak."  Struck me as a strange thing for a grown man to say.  
I sure did like that chapter, though.  

"Call me Snuffles" didn't make me cringe too much.  By the way, was 
the point of the "Snuffles" thing to make the reader sweat?  In 
the "The Dream" (which follows Padfoot Returns), H/H/R have a 
conversation in which they refer to Sirius as "Sirius" three times.  
I was sure something bad would result from this slip, but nothing 
ever did.
