The kid is most definitely a Gryffindor! He has shown bravery time and time 
again!

In SS he stands up for himself at the end (even if he does get the full-body 
bind put on him). Also in SS he tries to take on both Crabbe and Goyle at a 
Quidditch match while Ron fights Malfoy. Then in PoA he is nervous about the 
boggart but goes up against it anyway.

Poor kid doesn't get enough credit. I rather think that he'll end up an 
unlikely hero
