Sounds about right.  We already know from the scene in which Harry 
and co. first meet the ghosts (while waiting to be sorted) that 
Peeves isn't really a proper ghost at all, and that he's the only 
ghost with with color.  Obviously, he's a very different kind of 
creature than -- for example -- Nearly Headless Nick.
