That is an interesting speculation! Certainly any good Transfiguration 
teacher can turn into an animagi. He definitely isn't Fawkes though, as he 
and Fawkes have been in the same room before.

Hm...It seems unlikely that we'll come across many more animagi as we already 
know of five, four of whom are illegal. Besides, IIRC, Hermione said there 
were only *7* registered animagi in the whole *century*....That leaves only 6 
for the last 100 years
