Remus certainly seemed pretty smart when he was teaching the DADA 
class. Of course, James was Head Boy, meaning he was presumably the 
best student of the group. And Remus might've been made to seem 
smarter than he actually is just by being the first DADA teacher 
we've seen who's actually COMPETENT.
