In a word, no. Snape hated Harry before he ever met him. Thus, Snape 
clearly has no good reason for his hatred. Perhaps he had a 
legitimate reason for hating James Potter, but assuming the son would 
be just like the father & thus also worthy of his hatred shows that 
Snape is stupid, petty git.
