I always assumed they had classes on the ship/in their
carriage. Like... head from the fire type classes, so
they wouldn't have wasted a half year of schooling. :)

their deputys....

Well, from my readings, I've "learned" (assumed) the
lake was rather large. So the ship could have been
relocated to another part of the lake from where the
Task took place. Easy as pie. :)
