Interesting point, but I doubt it fits into canon because of the characters' ages: It seems that Snape is more or less the same age as the Marauders and JKR said that he's about 35/36 in GoF.
Karkaroff is described as middle-aged (grey hair and beard), so I'd say he's in his fifties. If this assumption is correct, there is no way that he and Snape could have been at Hogwarts at the same time, moreover, canon doesn't state clearly that Karkaroff *was* at hogwarts (yes, I know that he says "It's good to be back", but that alone is a little vague).
Same goes for Lucius Malfoy: From the conversation between polyjuiced Harry and Ron with Draco in CoS, I got the idea of Lucius having been at Hogwarts when the Chamber was opened last time, which would tie in nicely with Riddle's school stuff being in Lucius's possession.
McNair seems to be older than Snape (sorry, but I'm at work right now and don't have the books), at least I think so- his description made me think of a man in his fifties as well.
So there remain, Crabbe, Goyle, Rosier and Wilkes as possible members of the Slytherin gang- maybe Rosier and Wilkes, or at least one of them were women? AFAIK, we don't have any information about them but for their names. Possible Snape love story there???

"And how come those portraits seem to be alive?"
"What'ya mean? All paintings move."
"No, they don't. We have lots of paintings in our villa, among them a real Chagall, and none of them..."
"And d'ya expect that something painted by a jackal will move? Now really..."
