Hi everyone, it's been awhile!
I used to lurk on this list over 6 months back, posted a few times,
but my life got too busy to handle the volume, so I had to leave.
Well with the new movie and all, I just missed discussing the books
too much to handle staying away from here! so if anyone remembers
little jen... then let me say it's good to be back! I know the list
has probably changed a good deal in the time I've been gone.
Rest assured mods, I know the rules. :) I did brush up on them as
a bit of a refresher course though once subscribed.
Anyway for my first post back I'd like to bring up something that
might be a bit controversial:
Anyone else find it puzzling that Hogwarts students, male and
female, stay together in the same dorms (although separated into male
and female sections) but still, sharing a common room... it seems
like, what with the raging hormones teenagers have got and all, and
the fact that sneaking out doesn't seem to be much of a problem...
well, basically, that sex would occur.
I'm not talking about sex between any of the HP characters
specifically; but in general, some of the older students at Hogwarts,
those aged 16, 17, etc, have got to have done some "fooling around."
How do you suppose they control this? Is there a Hogwarts sexual
education program? And what's to be done in the off chance that a
Hogwarts student does get pregnant? Would they use the time-turner to
undo the deed?
I don't mean this post to be lewd or anything, but knowing
teenagers, (for I was one once) I know what happens.
Any thoughts?
