I know what it's like to feel disappointed - the movie was
disappointing, but that was intuitively obvious. After all, how can
you fit Harry Potter into a movie without spoiling it?

But Order of the Pheonix will not be spoiled. Unless Rowling suddenly
goes crazy or, in a Space Jam-isque way, loses her writing talents.

Rowling has not only planned the series for 10 years or so, she also
meticulously rewrites... It seems her record is 13 rewrites for a
chapter, and she also redid a large part of GoF after finding a plot
hole.

Now, it's quite possible that OotP may not be as good as GoB -
Personally, I like PoA the best - It contains Sirius and Lupin, my
favourite characters, as well as a devious plot twist I really wasn't
prepared for (although I'm sure many others were).

Still, I'm sure it won't be quite as disappointing as Robert Jordan's
WoT series, which is deeply mired in plot right now, and plot only.
Kind of boring. I had to struggle through his last two books.

Perhaps Rowling might take Harry Potter into a deeper, more complex
twist that is more about plot or character interaction than action,
but no matter what it will be, we can expect it to be interesting. (I
also wouldn't mind a 1400 page book, but... you can't have
everything...)

Also, OotP seems to have been delayed. For those of you who don't
like that, be patient. Do you want a book full of plotholes and
ridiculous fodder? For those of you worried about the quality of the
book - this is why Rowling is delaying the book.
