While I think that Bill is named Bilius (after his uncle who died
from seeing a Grim) and Charlie is named Charlie and Percy is named
Percy and Fred is named Fred and George is named George and Ginny is
named Ginny (but canon has given us that Ron is named Ronald),

the idea of Percy being named Perseus combines interestingly with
Dave Hardenbrook's discovery that 'Severus Snape' is an anagram of
'Perseus Evans', and the frequent speculation that Lily's dark red
hair means she was related to the Weasleys and their flaming red
hair. I think the theory would go that the Evanses were an old
wizarding family, Petunia was a Squib, Severus was Lily's brother and
his grudge against Harry is that he caused her death, and Mama
Evans was a Weasley (Arthur's sister? aunt?) and both Persei were
named after the same Weasley ancestor.

Dearest Philip, you need to join the OT (Off-Topic) List. You're
probably too busy to wade through the posts about haggling with car
salesmen, but Barb posted that link on 12/6, leading to replies like
"Uh oh. Some of that must have from our discussions of HP. I think
there is a spy lurking on the board"

and "That was my thought as well! Did you notice the fortyish man
surrounded by Harry Potter collectibles (wearing a Gryffindor scarf)
who lives in a basement? Hmph. I sleep on the second floor... "

and "C'mon, own up, RIGHT NOW! Who wrote the article? Joywitch, are
you freelancing for The Onion these days? John... is this you trying
to earn enough money for the inflatable Oliver Wood bed buddy?"
