I find your thought that Hermione would end up with both Ron and 
Harry at different times, interesting.  However as in real life were 
she to date one after the other would there not be the possibility 
that it would cause a rift between Harry and Ron? This happens so 
often in real life where a friendship is disrupted by a member of the 
opposite sex. It often destroys the friendship. The only way, I find 
that it would work is if the romantic feelings had completely 
dissapated. And even so jealousy is a good agent at stirring up old 
feelings.
