In response to a couple of posts talking about the likelihood of
hormonal teenagers "doing what comes naturally" at Hogwarts

It seems to me that the teachers are, rather than using an active
form of prevention, using a passive form, notably `lack of privacy'.
There's nothing which prevents a girl from entering a boys dorm, but
one would have to be a bit of an exhibitionist to `do' anything there
in front of another four boys. It's also likely that, amongst any
five people sharing a room, at least one of them would be unwilling
(or too forgetful) to vacate a dorm room to give you `a little
privacy'. The common room's no better, since anyone MIGHT wake up
and want to come down, or the teacher MIGHT turn up, or a ghost MIGHT
choose to float through late at night

Although one can clearly duck into an empty classroom for some
smooching, anyone else can do exactly the same thing – you run the
risk of being caught by other passionate teenagers, nosey younger
siblings and students, older kids practicing spells (HRH) or even a
teacher or Filtch (Not to mention the paintings watching
)
There is, of course, always the great outdoors, but I'd imagine the
Scottish climate is somewhat unkind to open-air lovers for much of
the year, and, of course, you run exactly the same risk of being
discovered outside as you do inside – if there's a concealed area on
the grounds then there'll probably be a high demand for it!
The only place that I can think of where one would be unlikely to run
into anyone else is the Forbidden Forest, and, frankly, worrying
about whether the noise in the bushes was an Acromantula or a
Werewolf would probably dampen even the most ardent passions

It's very rare that we see anyone managing to get some privacy at
Hogwarts – ghosts, prowling teachers, nosy siblings etc often turn
up. Add to that the possibility of magical versions of CCTVs, living
paintings, and ghosts which can slip through locked doors (especially
Peeves), and I'd be extremely surprised if anyone was managing
regular extra-curricular activities
