cedric, killed by voldemort or wormtail

my first post so hopefully this isnt terribly redundant.

     one of the aspects of the graveyard scene that doesnt make sense 
to me is whether voldemort or wormtail killed cedric. it appears that 
voldemort said "Kill the spare." the voice is described as "high, 
cold" and a second voice, described as "schreeched," spoke the Avada 
Kedavra curse. it certainly makes no sense that wormtail would order 
voldemort to kill cedric.
     wormtail is then described as having "lit his wand, and was 
dragging Harry toward the marble headstone." later, voldemort is 
described as having "slipped one of those unnaturally long-fingered 
hands into a deep pocket and drew out a wand." 
     thus unless wormtail used voldemort's wand to kill cedric there 
should not have been the image of cedric discharged from voldemort's 
wand after the Priori Incantatem effect. anything i miss that 
explains the inconsistency?
