Hello. I'm new and have been lurking for a few days now. Whenever I read
the books, I read Voldemort with the "t". However, this thread finally
made me go back to www.scholastic.com/harrypotter. There you can find a
Pronunciation Guide. Voldemort is listed. Click on his name once and the
guide will say, "Shhh...he who should not be named." Click on it again
and it says, "You know who." Third times a charm! It says and shows that
it should be pronounced as "VOLE-de-more." Just thought I'd let you guys
know about this. I will continue to pronounce the "t" since I'm so used
to it.
Jess
