Intellectually, I agree with you.  The Orders are most likely honors that
you receive for outstanding feats of wizardry or aiding your country.

However, the first _feeling_ I received when I read of the OfM 2nd class was
a feeling of dread: it reminded me too much of _Animal Farm_, and the token
medals the pigs received.  Did Rowling mean to tie the awards in that way?
I doubt it.  Still, it does creep me out a bit.

BTW- new poster here.  Brian Yoon, new fanatic to the HP cause. I hope to
add some Intellectual Thought into these discussions.
