Neville is round-flat. In SS/PS, Neville was almost part of the 
group. He showed considerable bravery, such as, taking on Crabbe and 
Goyle single-handledly, trying to stop Ron, Harry and Hermione. He 
had a great deal of potential, imho. In CoS and PoA: he fell flat, 
playing Hogwarts version of the village idiot. In GoF, Neville is 
still a little flat, though asking Hermione AND Ginny to the Yule 
Ball was gutsy.
