Does anyone else think the giants are not going to be at all the way 
Ron described them in GoF?  First of all, we found out that werewolves 
as people can be good and gentle and that the house elf situation is 
quite complicated.  Second, JKR loves to surprise us.  Third, JKR 
often has a message behind her subplots; one of them seems to be that 
we shouldn't judge what we do not know.  Giants may have been 
persecuted for their size and went into hiding because they are 
peaceful and refuse to fight.  I'm becoming more and more convinced 
that the giants are not going to be stupid and violent.
