Right on, isabelle!
Though a literature major in college, I do not own
many books - my income just won't support it. But I
own every HP book in hardcover, just because they lend
themselves so well to re-reading. They are so richly
detailed, and the characters so round, that I find
something new everytime. They are my "rainy day
bored" books, my "I need a lift" books, and my "check
out from reality" books.
Anyway - just the other day, I re-read the end of GoF,
and understood what a major role Molly Weasley has
come to play in Harry's life. Subtly and gradually,
she has come to be his emotional rock - the person he
allows himself to be completely vulnerable with. I
hope that JKR continues to expand this special
relationship for Harry in spite of his adolescence. (A
time of asserting one's independence from parents and
authority figures.) I love Molly - she's a kick!
-Mary (who suddenly has the urge to hug her
own adolescent boy.)
