As for his powers not surviving Voldie's demise, that had never

It's a common resolution to stories of this kind...think Frodo Baggins
or Taran of Lloyd Alexander's Prydain series, or Bran in Susan
Cooper's The Dark is Rising. They all lose, or choose to give up their
supernatural powers.
What about

How do we know those powers *aren't* Voldie related. Wouldn't it
be neat if the power to resist Voldemort's curse came from Voldie
himself?
At several times in the narrative, a little voice, sometimes it's
called a "nasty little voice,' speaks to Harry from the back of his
mind. I keep wondering about that voice. Is it Harry's subconscious or
could it be the voice of the part of Voldemort that got transferred to
Harry, and are they by now inextricably entwined?
