Actually, if I remember, it wasn't moody who taught resistance to the 
imperius curse, but crouch jr. in a Moody body.  Could it be that a 
natural instinct to resist the imperius curse is a dark wizard 
trait.  Maybe Crouch jr. was teaching the class the resistance in a 
effort to test who the natural dark wizards were, or maybe just to 
test how strong harry's powers are.
