Hello all,
I've been lurking for quite a while, but I have a question, ever since I
read PS for the first time.
In PS, page 54 (UK edition) Harry goes for the first time to the Leaky
Cauldron with Hagrid. Tom the barman greets him with the words and I quote:
"Bless my soul," whispered the old barman. "Harry Potter ... what an
honour."
....."Welcome back, Mr Potter, welcome back."
Does anybody know why Tom says "Welcome back", instead of just a hearty
"Welcome"?
Just curious.
Hastily crawling back into lurkdom now...
Riet
