yeah i realize this is a very old topic of debate but i have to bring
it up again. Today i was at barns and noble tooking at different
fantasy series that could keep me busy until the new harry potter book
came out. The series i chose was the Redwall series by Brian Jacques.
When i got home i looked on the back of the book and i noticed it had
a reading level on it. this series is for kids between the ages of
9-12. I dont mind...the books are all over 300 pages and look like
alot of fun. the thing thats bothering me is they were all in the
Adult section of barns and nobles...and i went back after dinner and
they were no where to be found in the childrens section. ALSO every
book (including the newest one) says New York Times Bestseller at the
top.
i just dont think its fair.
