After seeing what a horrible mess Kevin Costner made of a British 
accent in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves", I'm really leery of 
casting anyone but a British actor in a British movie.  I can't think 
of one American actor who could even do a British accent, but then, I 
spend my life watching British movies, so I'm probably not the best 
one to chime in on actors themselves.
