Newbie...and a question or two

Hi! I'm delurking for the first time here, so just thought
I'd say hi 
and ask a question or two (hope they haven't been asked to death 
already)

I've noticed quite a bit of discussion about Harry/Hermione vs. 
Ron/Hermione. I'd always been in the latter camp, in fact, I was 
surprised to learn that H/H fans even existed until discovering them 
here! So, naturally, I'm curious. Could someone explain the
theories 
behind H/H to me, so I feel a little more in the loop here? I'd 
really appreciate it! Thanks!
