No, it's not very accurate, but I don't think it's intended to be. As 
you say, it's fun and creative. I enjoyed it.

The Lexicon has a map of the castle grounds and Hogsmeade and also a 
listing of what's on each floor of Hogwarts, but no map of the 
interior. I've been making some sketches and I'll try to put 
something on there soon to show what we do know of where things are 
and how they relate to each other. I can show portions of the main 
floor, that's about it. Everything else is pretty fuzzy.
