Some comments about my favorite character!:

He's like Edith Bunker in that way.  His childlike naiveté makes him
seem a "dingbat" to those of narrowness of mind.  But he has much

Because, as I think someone else pointed out, he can be intimidating
to the Muggles without using magic.

"Mudbloods", Death Eaters = KKK, etc.

Yeah, a bit.  But then, so is Sirius...

Well, I suppose we'll never know unless Hagrid is reinstated as a student
(and I think they should, now that he's been proved innocent!)...
