You may count me among the Sherlockians here.  Doyle, like Rowling, 
left many details uncovered and contradictions all through his text. 
Seventy years or so of Sherlockian scholarship hasn't settled much. 
My "Annotated Sherlock Holmes" is about three inches thick. It's 
going to be the same with Harry; it already is.

I try to visualize what it would have been like if the Internet 
existed at the time the original Holmes stories were published.
