Wait, we can still save it!  I know...everyone *thinks* Sinistra is a witch, 
but *he* is actually a transgendered, transvestite man who has been carrying 
on a secret, torrid love affair with Moody for years (Crouch Jr. is hetero, 
but has to play along to keep up the facade...hence the "ungainly").

P.S.  A big, enthusiastic second for the Chronicles of Prydain.  If you 
haven't read them, run, don't walk to your local library and ask for The 
Book of Three (1st of 5).  They're terrific!  Again, that so-hard-to-achieve 
combo of adventure, great characterization, and humor.
