All this reminds me of a line from an LMM novel/story (sorry, can't
remember which)--
"He was one of those wicked, fascinating men, who, after the wedding,
left off being fascinatin and kept on being wicked."
It's the bad boy, James Dean, Rebel without a Cause-kind of thing, I
expect...
