Yes, I have to say it struck me that Snape grabbing his arm was 
significant.  It also struck me that Snape ought to know darn well 
where the trick step is,  and that the Marauder's Map *is* a map (he 
saw it in PoA) which made me wonder if his attempt to put his hands on 
Harry was for real.
