No kidding?  I haven't heard Stephen Fry's reading.

I don't really care about THE pronunciation so long as *I* can 
pronounce them.  I gave up on Lord of the Rings when I first tried 
reading it partly because I couldn't stand reading things I couldn't 
pronounce in my head.  Praise be to my saintly spouse, who read the 
whole trilogy to me 10 years later.

But Voldemort is pronounced with a silent T--any fool knows that.
