If you are willing to stray from pure fantasy and try some sci-fi,
Isaac Asimov is a must read. "The end of eternity", my favorite,
deals with time travel, although Asimov's system turns out to be
quite more powerful than a MOM time turner. The robot short
stories, compiled in "I, robot" and "Robot dreams" are also
excellent reading. If you like them, you may go on with the Robot
trilogy (Caves of steel, The naked sun, The robots of dawn).
However, never, and I mean NEVER, read the books by Asimov
and Silvelberg. They are adaptations from Asimov's best short
stories, and they do them a very poor service.
Finally, I also enjoyed a lot Arthur C. Clarke's "The songs of
distant earth".

Sorry for the sci-fi nostalgia...

Mauricio
