I dunno, Draco is such a little snot (and reminds me so much of some
other little snots I knew growing up) that I can't convince myself
he'll be redeemed in any way.  On the other hand, JKR has basically
turned him into a self-sabotaging punching bag for Harry & Co. --
whenever they want to vent some steam, an opportunity arises to curse
or pummel ol' Draco.  It's not very fair, really (Draco: "It's not my
fault!  The author had it in for me!").  Still, if Harry is forced to
trust him at some point, it'll make for some great suspense!

Ok, but what about booze?  I could never make it through a 12-step if
I weren't allowed to bring a six-pack of Dos Xs. <g>
