Stephen King wrote the official New York Times book review of GoF. It was a very favorable review, and
ironically (given the then-recent action by the NY Times to remove the HP books from the main bestseller
lists), King made a point of stressing at several points in that review that the books were by no means a
childrens' series. :--)
I don't think it's available on-line any longer, but it was printed in the NY Times Book Review section
shortly after July 8th.
