Severus Snape looks far too much like Elrond from the Rankin/Bass "The
Hobbit." McGonagall's too young-looking. And Voldemort's nose is too
pointy. But I love the kids! Especially Neville.
Looking at the adults, I'm wondering if the Japanese tend to perceive age
using the same cues as Westerners--the ages I "get" from the pictures
aren't the ages I think of the characters as being, but maybe they're
right for Japan. Thoughts?
