Yep, that is the perfect summation of why 3 is my favorite.  And 
you're right, it is also very funny (funny AND serious--good combo).  
I think #1 is pretty hilarious though.  It doesn't have any maps that 
advise Snape to wash his hair, but all the quirks of Hogwarts and the 
wizarding world are particularly funny the first time you encounter 
them (e.g. Nearly-Headless Nick).
