Yes, mail will show up in your inbox *for a while*. In my experience (namely
with the Y!/GeoCities merger), however, it's best to change over to the new
format asap as resources are put into it (servers, email rerouters and other
technical wizardry). So, although it's slightly less appealing than eating
sand, it might be a good idea to start doing so when you have some free time
to spare.
