To my best knowledge no relative is ever mentioned. We also know nothing
about Snape's family. I'd laugh my head off if these two tall, thin,
black-haired men turned out to be relatives...

I admire your good taste, Katarzyna :-). If I was a witch I'd call my son
Severus without hesitation. As a matter of fact, if I was a witch, I'd be
only too happy to be able to call my boy Severus Snape Jr. But his father
would have to get used to taking baths first ;-)))
