I think that's very possible.  Remember the phoenix song in GoF when Harry's 
and Voldemort's wands connected.  There is also something in FB about how 
phoenix song strengthens the pure of heart and strikes fear into the hearts 
of the impure.  So music in general, and perhaps phoenix song in particular 
could be important later.
However, between studying for O.W.Ls, practicing quidditch, and fighting 
Voldemort, I doubt that Harry will have much time for boredom...
