Ron playing Quidditch?

Thank you so much for asking that!  I do not know why people assume 
Ron will suddenly join the team.  In fact, it does not even appear to 
be Harry's talent at Quidditch that Ron is jealous of.  It is the fact 
that *everything* seems to happen to Harry, resulting in attention 
always being on Harry.  I feel that when it comes to Quidditch, Ron is 
an enthusiastic fan and no more.

I don't see that as likely at all.  Besides, which brother's legacy is 
he to carry on?  Percy the prefect?  Fred and George the 
troublemakers/jokesters?  Charlie the Quidditch champion?  Or Bill the 
*cool* (I stress the word 'cool' because Percy is not the cool Head 
Boy by anyone's standards) Head Boy?

I like Ron very much, and I would like to see him get some 
recognition.  However, I would also like to see him earn it, like he 
did when he played chess in SS or when he told Sirius that he would 
fight Sirius to protect Harry in PoA.  Let's see something unique in 
Ron's talents instead of just being the Next Weasley to succeed at 
___(fill in the blank).
